“SPEND TWO MONTHS OF YOUR LIFE

IN THE WOODS, HUNDREDS KM FROM CITIES

WITH TWENTY OTHER INDIE DEVS

BUILDING THE ONE GAME OF YOUR DREAMS”

Calling all indie game developers!  Did you ever want to work on your game in the comfort of a Swedish cabin?  Of course you have, everyone does.  Silly question.

Stugan is a non-profit accelerator program for game developers, now in its third year.  It is run by a group of Swedish video game devs and entrepreneurs to provide support and mentoring for other developers.  20 lucky devs will spend two months (all expenses paid) in a Stugan, a traditional Swedish cabin to work on their gaming masterpiece.

During the program the developers’ cabins will be visited by leaders in the games industry to hold lectures and workshops.  These include representatives from Mojang, Paradox, King, DICE, Resolution Games, Fast Travel Games, Snowprint Studios, and Goodbye Kansas.

Come for the Stugan, stay for the pixels

Applications are now open and close on 31 March 2017, with the program open to developers across any platform and from any country.  To apply all you need to do is create a 90 second video pitching yourself and your game idea and what goal you wish to reach.

As well as having an all-expenses paid adventure in the Swedish wilderness, you also get to keep the rights to the game you work on!

So what are you waiting for? Get your Stugan on and start filming!
