The CEO of Telltale Games, Kevin Bruner, has resigned from his position within the organisation.
In a company-wide email this week, obtained by Kotaku, Bruner writes:
“We’ve grown aggressively since Telltale’s inception, and now Telltale is bigger than I ever dreamed it would be. There are many possible futures for Telltale, and all of them are exciting and uniquely challenging. The time has come to pass the reins to someone that can better drive Telltale to the next level and realise all the potential that is here.”
Bruner also states in the email that he will stay on the board of directors through the transition and that co-founder Dan Connors will take over operations as CEO.
In a statement to Kotaku, head of creative communications Job Stauffer stated that “Kevin has led Telltale over the past couple of years after he stepped into the CEO role for co-founder Dan Connors in 2015. With Kevin departing, Telltale is fortunate to have Dan here to step back seamlessly into the CEO role.”
To what extent this will impact the future of Telltale Games and their upcoming projects is yet to be seen. Perhaps only time will tell.
