Sony has bestowed upon us a ‘first look’ at the upcoming stand-alone entry into the Uncharted series, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will star Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross and will not feature Nathan Drake, the series’ main protagonist, according to the game preview on the PlayStation Blog.
“We’re not going to touch on Nathan Drake in this, at all,” said Kurt Margenau, game director on The Lost Legacy.
The story is set 12 months after the event’s of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. It follows Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross, who so far we only know of by their relation to Drake. The story has Chloe set off on her own hunt for treasure: the tusk of Ganesh. Nadine, who is recently unemployed due to her mercenary company going under after the events of A Thief’s End, joins Chloe to help on her quest for the Indian artefact.
Sony announced The Lost Legacy at their PlayStation Experience event with this gameplay trailer in December 2016, with the game expected to be released later in 2017.
What do you think about the decision to retire ol’ Nate’s story? does he deserve his peace in the sun? Or do you want to see him return?
