NetherRealm Studios continues to hype up its Injustice 2 cast by adding yet another one of DC Comic’s iconic heroes.
Welcome to the table, Firestorm!
Made popular by various DC Comic book adaptations and The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow and The Flash, Firestorm brings the heat to this epic superhero beat down.
Within the new trailer we get an insight into what the pyro-nuclear superhero is capable of unleashing.
The trailer shows off heaps of fire-balling and flame-throwing and we also get a glimpse at Firestorm’s two forms, red and blue. Presumably the two forms are Jason Rusch (red) and Martin Stein (blue) who represent Firestorm’s two identities as described in the Infinite Crisis Comic (DC). Whether one is merely a more powerful version of the other, or if they have entirely different attack commands is yet to be seen.
To add some icing to the cake there is a nice Killer Croc cameo which sees him throw a pretty kitty through a brick wall, you can catch all the action in the trailer above.
Injustice 2 is coming at you May 17th on PS4 and Xbox One
