Red Barrels, developers of Outlast 2, have taken to social media early this morning to announce the release details of their upcoming horror game.
Set your calendars because April 25th just got a whole lot spookier. The game will be available digitally for $30 USD (other regions pricing has yet to be announced) and will arrive on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Also announced was ‘Outlast Trinity’, a collection of all Outlast content that includes the original Outlast game, Outlast Whistleblower (game DLC), and, of course, Outlast 2. Outlast Trinity will be arriving to physical stores for PS4 and Xbox One and will cost $39.99 USD with pricing and availability varying by region.
I had an opportunity to try a demo of Outlast 2 last October and if the full experience of the game can match the quality of that demo then we are looking at a potentially fantastic game. If you’d like to see why I view 2017 as a huge year for horror gaming (partly because of Outlast 2) then you can check that out that here.
Outlast 2 will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Are you ready for frights?
