Ubisoft gives compensation to For Honor players

Posted on March 1, 2017

For Honor has had its share of connection troubles since the game launched last month, but the biggest technical blunder occurred on Saturday when the servers were down and multiplayer unavailable for 8 hours. Ubisoft is rectifying this by compensating players with Champion Status for 3 days, beginning from March 3 to March 5 on all platforms.

Just log in during this time and it will activate for you!

Champion Status includes:

  • More Salvage from dismantling Gear
  • More end-match Loot
  • +25% XP Boost
  • 3 Exclusive Champion Emblems
  • An Exclusive Champion Icon next to your name
  • +10% XP Boost for all players on your team
  • Champion Statuses stack (i.e.: if you bought the Season Pass, you will get 3 extra days)

On top of this, a special event will take place this coming weekend where players will be able to get double the Steel they would normally receive.

In our review of For Honor, we said: “For Honor is a compelling, exciting and intricate hand-to-hand combat experience that is let down by anger-inducing connectivity issues. It’s still early days in terms of release, so there is time to fix these problems; once that happens, players will be allowed to experience the finesse of one of the best fighting systems available.”
