Fresh off the back of announcing Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hackers Memory, Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe have released their debut trailer for the game. Viewers will be treated to a brief snippet of the story and the innumerable Digimon that you’ll be given the chance to raise and battle alongside.
Once again, players will take the helm of a young protagonist who finds themselves unwillingly thrown into a precarious situation, with both their own world and the digital world in need of help. Players will befriend, raise, and digivolve their Digimon, who’ll travel alongside them and also act as their battle companions. Throughout the trailer we are treated to several familiar faces from both games and series past; I can’t wait to dish out some pain as Omnimon!
It has been hinted by the developers that Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hackers Memory will exist within the same universe as the previously released Cyber Sleuth game. As to whether it will be connected to the previous game, they are remaining tight lipped, but it can be assumed that there will be some influence or crossover from its prequel.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hackers Memory will be available both physically and digitally for the PlayStation 4 and available digitally for the PlayStation Vita in early 2018.
