With Microsoft’s Project Scorpio set to be unleashed to the masses in 2017’s holiday season, there’s still a lot we don’t know about it.
Microsoft have already clued us in on the specs of Project Scorpio. Thanks to this Eurogamer Digital Foundry report we know that the console will have:
- CPU: Eight-core 2.3GHz processor
- GPU: 40 compute units at 1172MHz
- RAM: 12GB GDDR5 (shared between system and GPU)
- Bandwidth: 326GB/s
- Storage: 1TB hard disk
- Disc: UHD Blu-ray player
And now it seems like Spanish retailer, XtraLife, (tweeted by user DesiXBL) has jumped the gun in advertising Project Scorpio at €399 which is about $575 AUD give or take. But it is unclear as to whether this is a placeholder price or a pre-order price set to change upon reveal… So for now I would add this to the Project Scorpio rumour pile.
