At the Star Wars Celebration event this weekend, EA has officially revealed Star Wars Battlefront II, after leaks came about last week.
The sequel to the 2015 shooter will feature an actual offline campaign this time, and takes place in the 30 year gap between The Force Awakens and Return of the Jedi. The story follows protagonist Iden Versio, who leads an elite Imperial unit called Inferno Squad, and is confirmed to be a part of the actual Star Wars canon.
Players will be able to play content from not only the original saga in the latest game, but the prequels and new trilogy as well. Rey, Luke, Yoda, Darth Maul, and many more characters will be available to play, and famous locations such as Yavin 4, Mos Eisley, and Starkiller Base will be playable maps, which support up to 40 players.
The game is set to release November 17th for Xbox One, PC and PS4.
