The global test times for the anticipated release of the Nintendo Switch game ARMS were announced earlier today, during a special Nintendo Direct presentation almost entirely focused on ARMS that can be watched below.
The announced schedule shows that the Friday of each weekend will only be reserved for North American players. This leaves the remainder of the world having to patiently wait for Saturday and Sunday (Sunday and Monday for us Australians) to jump in a play.
Much like the global test fire of Splatoon 2, the servers will be open over 2 weekends starting on Friday the 26th of May. That means for most eager Australians such has myself , we won’t have access to the game until the early hours of Sunday morning.
The expected access time for Australians are as follows:
- Weekend 1: Sunday 28th of May to Monday 29th of May
- Weekend 2 : Sunday 4th of May to Monday 5th of May
ARMS is getting a good response so far from those who have played it; check out our hands-on time with the game here.
With the game due to release on the 16th of June, one wonders if there’s enough time to solve any issues encountered during the Test Punch? Are you going to flex your ARMS next weekend?
