Enhanced content for console versions of Dreamfall Chapters

The Longest Journey saga has been a well loved and well received  series to many a gamer over the years. So it was great news to hear that the last instalment, Dreamfall Chapters, would finally be releasing on console. Although the original date was altered from its original announcement, we are finally only a couple days away from seeing this beautiful game on console. Make sure to mark your calendars for the 5th of May!

With the release date so close now, Red Thread Games and Deep Silver have released a new video that introduces the two heroes of the game, and breaks down the events and happenings in the previous game, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. This video will allow new players to get up to date on everything that has led up to the epic finale of the game, and will also be featured as an introduction within the game itself.

(WARNING!  Obviously there are major spoilers within this video.  So if you haven’t yet played the previous games, and plan to do so, I highly recommend you do NOT watch the video below, and leave all the mystery to be discovered in your own play time. )

Something to look forward to with the release of the console version is many enhancements to the animations, character models, overall look, and even some new soundtracks to help you get hooked into all the mystery. Being someone who has played through the saga already, I am eager to see the improvements on the console version, as Dreamfall Chapters is easily my favourite of the three.

If you haven’t had the chance to play any of The Longest Journey Saga, it’s an adventure series based between two parallel worlds: One is an olden styled fantasy realm full of magic, the other is a dark futuristic cyberpunk world full to the brim with technology. The themes are deep and emotional, the characters have such great personality, and the mystery will pull you right along for the ride, and trust me, you will WANT to go on this ride!
