Bethesda has announced that their 2015 hit, Fallout 4, will be free to play this weekend.
The free trial will be available only for Xbox Gold Members on the console but will be available to all via Steam on PC — unfortunately no love for PlayStation owners this time around.
Xbox owners will already have access to the free trial since Thursday 25th 5:01pm AEST and it will run until Monday 29th 4:59pm AEST. For Steam users you’ll be able to access the trial from Friday 26th 3:00am AEST but it will wrap up earlier on Monday 29th 6:00am AEST.
The trial will give full support to Mods but will not include any of the paid DLC. A 67% discount on the full game will run alongside the trial and the game will return to normal pricing on Tuesday 30th 3:00am AEST.
This is a perfect chance for those that haven’t been sure if Fallout 4 was them. Just make sure the first thing you do is find your loyal companion, Dogmeat.
