Far Cry 5 releasing with Standard, Deluxe and Gold Editions

With Far Cry 5’s announcement trailer recently unveiled alongside an expected release date of 27 February 2018, Ubisoft have now opened up pre-orders which are giving us a look at the editions they will be releasing.

Australia will have access to all 3 editions according to new listings posted to the EB games website where the Standard, Deluxe and Gold Editions of Far Cry 5 are on offer. Each has their own perks and special offers, which will help you in your fight throughout Far Cry 5’s  new challenging setting.

For those that aren’t familiar with Far Cry 5’s story,  it follows the same concept from past Far Cry games of leading a resistance to freedom. It will be based in a fictional small American town named Hope County, where you fight to end the reign of a psychopathic cult leader named Joseph Seed. No doubt he will have an army of psychopathic cult followers that will want to bury a bullet or knife in you, how thoughtful.

You can expect to see the return of the traditional game mechanics from previous games including making choices that shape the world around you and hunting and gathering animal resources to unlock weapons, packs and further develop character potentials. You will also be able to participate in side missions to free areas around the map from the control of Joseph Seed as well as unlock further in-game rewards.

Far Cry 5 is due to be released on 27 Feb 2018 on PS4, PC and Xbox One.
