The sequel to the Marvel / LEGO mashup adventure from 2013 has been teased. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be released on November 14th for PS4, PC and Xbox One. Along with this announcement from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment was the reveal that the title will also be released at a later date for the Nintendo Switch. No specific date for the Switch was specified but it should be available “this holiday”.
With an all new time travelling and time manipulation ability in play, the whole range of past Marvel characters can pop up in game. Drawing from various Marvel history and settings, a range of heroes and villains from different eras and realities will be available.
Confirmed settings include New York City (in the year 2099), Ancient Egypt and the Old West. Characters such as Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, the Green Goblin and the Guardians of the Galaxy will all be playable in Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2.
