It seems like the Overwatch team may actually never sleep. Rumours of a new event coming our way very soon have surfaced, all thanks to reddit user FailCraft, who has done the digging in the latest PTR patch files. In the patch files they have found references to “EVENT 6” for all heroes, including new cosmetic items and maps.
The timing is perfect, because we are quickly approaching the anniversary of Overwatch on May 24th. Funnily enough, it has been reported by TrueAchievements that there is a GOTY edition coming soon. The website found hidden entries stored on the Xbox Store for Overwatch – Game of the Year Edition and also anniversary loot boxes.
Reportedly the GOTY edition comes with:
- The full game.
- 10 bonus loot crates to get your heroes kitted out
- Origin skins for 5 heroes
- Baby Winston Mini pet for World Of Warcraft
- Tracer for use in Heroes of the Storm
- And much more!
