Re:Legend is a cooperative JRPG Life Sim that looks phenomenal

Developed by Magnus Games and published by Square Enix, Re:Legend is a cooperative JRPG Life Sim that is coming to PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Reminiscent of classic games such as Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley and Rune Factory, Re:Legend will have you fish, farm, cook, mine, smith and survive on Vokka island after your character washes ashore. Starting from nothing and working your way up to the top you will be able to interact with and befriend the villagers as you rebuild the town to glorious heights.

Unlike some other games within the genre, Re:Legend doesn’t just stop at a village simulation level. With 4-player coop available you can explore, take on vicious foes, recruit more villagers to aide you in your questing and expand into new territories and realms. The game also appears to have a much stronger focus on combat and allows you to hunt down and train monsters (known as Magnus) as your pets.

“Re:Legend revolves around taming and raising “Magnus”. There are plenty of them around the world and each of them possess unique abilities that can aid you in battle” – [source]

No release date has been announced for Re:Legend as of yet, but they have revealed via Facebook that a Kickstarter for the game is arriving in early June. So we will no doubt have more details very shortly. The game is currently slated for PC with an Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch version also planned.
