BioWare has always been ahead of the game when it comes to inclusiveness and diversity in their video games. Having stated on many occasions how important that diversity is not only to themselves but the gaming community which they work so tirelessly to entertain. So it’s little wonder that this stand-out developer is showing their true colours during Pride Week this Pride Month in the USA.
The team at BioWare Edmonton, the studio responsible for some of the industries better inclusive games like the the original Mass Effect trilogy and the Dragon Age series, recently took time out of their busy schedules to march with their families and friends alongside the LGBTQIA community in the Edmonton Pride Parade last week.
The studio also made special t-shirts for the event which got a lot of attention on the day. Unsurprisingly, they have also seen a lot of subsequent attention from BioWare lovers and members of the LGBTQIA community like myself since the event. Most of us have been wondering if BioWare will ever be adding the t-shirts to their store for purchase. Well they have instead done one better and have given us access to a printable version for free (pictured top of page) available from their blog here which you can download and use to make your own t-shirts, jumpers (for us Aussies experiencing winter right now), stickers, or anything our little gaymer hearts desire.
So head to BioWare’s blog and download your own free image today and start wearing it with Pride, I know I will be!
