It’s about time we got a proper Dungeons game. After the pitiful mobile release, developers Kalypso Media have dropped a completely evil trailer, straight from E3. Dungeons 3 will go back to what the series is popular for: witty humor and evilly engaging gameplay.
Players will get the chance to also try out some new features, including randomly generated maps and a 2-player co-op, which will result in immense fun for all of you sinister conquers. The team has been showing off a fresh build at E3, and for those unable to give it a go, the trailer should suffice for now. It shows off the overworld maps and creatures players can anticipate to try out when the game launches later this year.
Dungeons 3 is expected to be the biggest game yet, with a completely new and reworked overworld RTS mode. Players can control a variety of minions and creatures of evil through the assistance of Thalya, a new character to the series, and the single player campaign contains 20 missions, racking up at about 20 or so hours of playtime. This comes with the addition of more abilities, two player co-op and more. For fans, the classic Dungeons narrator is back too, continuing the Dungeons legacy.
Dungeons 3 is anticipated to be the best entry in the series, and is scheduled to launch later this year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
