Indie developers Gears for Breakfast have released a new gameplay trailer as part of E3 for their upcoming title, A Hat in Time.
This 3D platformer became the largest Kickstarter-funded indie 3D platformer, raising nearly $300k, ten times its original goal.
A Hat in Time is a stylish and rather polished looking game with a delightfully dark edge. The game revolves around Hat Kid, who must travel to five different worlds to collect hourglass-shaped fuel for her spaceship as well as upgrades for her hat and umbrella. You must hurry though, as everyone else is after the fuel, including the evil little Mustache Girl (quite possibly the best villain name for some time).
A Hat in Time is scheduled for release Spring 2017 for Windows and OS X.
