Announced by Focus Home Interactive as part of E3, A Plague Tale: Innocence could be one of the most terrifying games we’ve seen… especially if you hate rats.
Set in 1349, the teaser trailer shows the games two protagonists Amicia and Hugo as they run through the night, avoiding guard types known as the Inquisition and ultimately trying to get away from a gigantic horde of supernatural killer rats who are hungry for their next meal. You have to evade them using fire and light as your only defense. It’s about as horrifying as it sounds.
No release date yet, but A Plague Tale: Innocence is set for release on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
