The legendary Miyamoto himself crashed the Ubisoft press conference at E3 this year to assist in showcasing the new Mario and Rabbids cross-over. Two universes have collided with Mario and Rabbids as Nintendo and Ubisoft work together.
All new gameplay footage was also showcased, with the Rabbids dressed up in Mario skins, forming a dream team to save the Mushroom Kingdom. With “battle zones” and “exploration zones” making up the game. Battle zones are similar to XCOM, with turn based movement and tactical combat, using the new weapons and movement abilities. Tactics and characters make up a big part of how you play in battle zones.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is coming to the Nintendo Switch on August 29th.
