Announced earlier this year at GDC 2017 (Game Developers Conference Expo), Ooblets is best described as the adorable lovechild of Pokémon and Viva Piñata with a sprinkling of Animal Crossing for good measure. So it was great to see it on show again at the PC Gaming Show at E3 2017!
You’ll grow and nurture your Ooblets in the garden, taking them out into the world to battle when ready. You’ll also be able to decorate your house by collecting items and interacting with other people in your neighbourhood.
Ooblets is filled with adorable pastel mini games and a bunch of charm. Expected to release sometime in 2018 for Xbox One and PC, I can quickly see myself becoming a fan of this quirky little game.
