Agents of Mayhem, the next game to come out of studio Volition has just released a new trailer.
A spin-off of the companies crowning glory, Saint’s Row, Agents of Mayhem takes place in the same world. Set in Seoul, this single player game is promising cool teleporting powers, big guns, overthrowing a tyrannical force of evil, and talking cars.
The talking smart-mouthed car’s have been specially engineered by the automotive genius of the ARK, Quartermile. Quartermile, a car fanatic, shows his love of cars by making specialised combat ready, high security vehicles for the Mayhem motor pool.
Featuring twelve different characters known as Agents, you pick and choose between them to make your team of three. As an Agent, you’ll be receiving your cars from Quartermile. Beware though, he’ll take it as a personal insult if his beloved cars aren’t treated with the respect they deserve.
It seems this title is not going with the character creation of the Saint’s Row world. Rather, it seems to be using pre-set characters, leaning towards more of an open world character story driven plot. It will be interesting to see how this will be received when compared to the character creation that was so loved about Saint’s Row.
Traverse the city via car, flips or just by foot. Fight the evil, the powerful, and the double parked.
Agents of Mayhem will release for PS4, Xbox One and PC on the 18th of August 2017. Pre-ordering is available.
