Horror game fans rejoice, White Day: A Labyrinth Named School has finally received a release date for its port over to the PlayStation 4 and PC (via Steam) this August 2017.
The popular 2001 survival horror game, which gained a cult-like following in the western world, had been fraught with delays due to publishing international versions. A trailer has also been released to commemorate this release announcement.
White Day: A Labyrinth Named School, is a Korean released survival horror game designed to induce fear in its players as you play the game completely from a first-person perspective. It draws creative inspiration from an Asian ‘high school life’ atmosphere and combines it with the scary movie classic trope of a school with a bloodstained past. The game tells the tale of Lee Hui-min, and his fellow classmates as they desperately attempt to escape the school, after learning they’re locked in and they’re not alone.
From the looks of the trailer, and the games prior success, this game is going to be one to watch and I can’t wait to sink my teeth into another scream-fest! Developed by ROI Games, White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is slated to be released on PC and PS4, this year in August.
