Theseus on PS VR is a labyrinthian nightmare

Forge Reply has announced that its upcoming action-adventure game, Theseus, will launch first on PlayStation VR in Summer 2017.

Theseus is set to offer a more modern and obscure take on the classic myth of the Minotaur and the Labyrinth. Taking a cinematic approach to game development, Forge Reply is promising “an engaging and immersive experience through the power of Virtual Reality.” Check out the trailer below!

Exploring a labyrinth with a scary-AF Minotaur clearly unhappy that you exist hunting you down sounds like a fear inducing concept as it is; coupling that with VR makes it a recipe for one of the more terrifying experiences available on the platform.

I do wonder how some of those climbing elements are going to work, but I’m happy to be pleasantly surprised when Theseus launches later this year. For more information on the game, head to the official website.
