Microsoft has announced the August lineup for the Xbox Live Games with Gold service.
As usual, all games listed will be available for Xbox One via backwards compatibility.
The games this month are quite diverse; Slime Rancher is the only “unknown” quantity but looks pretty cute, while Trials Fusion is one of the most devilishly addictive and difficult games in existence. However, both the Xbox 360 games steal the show for me this month, with two old favourites of mine – action-packed craziness in Bayonetta and the “destroy everything” nature of Red Faction: Armageddon are both sure to keep things interesting.

- Trials Fusion— August 16 – September 15

- Bayonetta — available 1st – 15th
- Red Faction: Armageddon — available 16th -31st
