Capcom goes humble in the latest Humble Bundle

Posted on July 13, 2017

The Humble Bundle website has long been a favourite of mine.  Going on for years now, they have raised millions of dollars for various charities through selling bundles of games in a “Pay What You Want” scheme.  The more you pay, the more games you get.  The sales start at $1 and generally cap out at about $25.  Not only can you choose how much money to spend for the bundle, you can also decide where the money goes – a sliding scale lets you adjust how much goes to the charity, the developers, and “tip” the Humble Bundle gang.

The newest bundle, entitled the Humble Capcom Rising Bundle, includes a bevy of Capcom titles, such as Dead Rising 3.

For $1 or more you get:

  • STRIDER
  • Umbrella Corps
  • DmC: Devil May Cry

Beating the average contribution ($7.28 as of writing) adds:

  • Umbrella Corps Deluxe Edition Upgrade Pack
  • Dead Rising 2: Off the Record
  • Resident Evil HD Remaster
  • Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster
  • Resident Evil 6

Paying $12 or more also unlocks:

  • Dead Rising 2
  • Dead Rising 3: Apocalypse Edition.

This Bundle’s charity is Water Aid America, but you can choose from a database of thousands of charities to donate your money to.  While you’re there, check out the Humble Store.  They sell Steam games, usually at a lower price than Steam, and much like the bundles a portion of the sales go to charity.
