If you’ve had a lack of sadistic robot bears in your life, then you’re in luck because Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony has exactly what you’re looking for in Monokuma.
In each main game from the franchise, Monokuma traps a class of students in their school in what can only be described as Ace Attorney vs Hunger Games and presents them with a game of life and death; if a student can kill a classmate and be found not guilty by a trial, then they are free to go. If found guilty however, Monokuma will kill them.
To say that Danganronpa is a series that has a deeply passionate following amongst its fans, is an understatement. In fact, our very own Luke Mitchell is quite possibly the biggest fan we here at team Checkpoint know. He is definitely among the many fans currently doing leaps of joy over the recently released English “Overview” trailer for Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony that NIS America dropped at the Anime Expo this past Independence Day weekend.
