Harry Potter meets Skyrim in Citadel: Forged With Fire

Posted on July 15, 2017

Have you ever wondered what the world would be like if you could actually explore a world full of magic, where what limits you is only your own creativity and imagination? If you answered yes, then Citadel: Forged With Fire might just be the game you’ve been looking for. A trailer announcing the PlayStation port over of this new massive sandbox RPG has been released… and it looks epic!

According to developers Blue Isle Studios, players will be able to build their own ‘house’, establish a hierarchy, war with rival nations, explore lands with expansive plains, dense forests, survive in bone chilling tundra’s, and study the arcane arts, learning and mastering powerful sorcery. As an interesting side note for travel, you’ll be able to hop on a broomstick and travel “Potter style”, or better yet mount a dragon and soar above the clouds.

Create Castles with your own magic in Citadel

Citadel: Forged With Fire also allows you to construct castles, imbuing them with your own magic to fortify its defences, and take advantage of the games “dynamic destruction system” to obliterate an opposing magical ‘house’. Character customisation will also be an available feature, so you may dress your mage in a variety of different clothing combinations and arm them with whichever weapon choice takes your fancy.

Explore a land 36 square km in size in Citadel

Due for release on PC for Steam this 26th of July as early access, the announcement of it coming to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at a later date is something to be excited about.
