At the beginning of early June fans of the challenging side scrolling adventure Hollow Knight were treated to an announcement of their upcoming content update. Since then however things have been a little quiet and with the deadline for the release looming we weren’t quite sure when to expect it.
In a new update on the Team Cherry website however the developers let us know that the update will be coming on August 3rd for all platforms. The team made light of the delay indicating some fine tuning and unknown surprises for the delay.
“In classic Team Cherry style, this is a little later than we said, but we felt the update needed a little more testing and fine tuning before we send it out. Plus, we may have managed to squeeze a few little unannounced surprises in there!”
Hollow Knight is a great Aussie made Indie gem that came from the Adelaide based developers, Team Cherry. Released in February on Windows and April on Linux and macOS the game took reviewers and players by storm, . The Hidden Dreams update promises a new upgrade, new bosses and new music — and as previously mentioned some unannounced surprises.
