Little Witch and Seven Deadly Sins coming to western gamers

Posted on July 5, 2017

Anime fans rejoice, as Bandai Namco Entertainment have recently announced the western localisation of two popular anime video games – Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time, and Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia! Both games have been announced with stunningly rendered trailers in tow!

Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time will be an action role playing game that follows the story of effervescent witch-in-training, Akko, and her class mates Sucy and Lotte. For those unfamiliar with the series’ lore, think of Little Witch Academia as a mix between Harry Potter and Sailor Moon. It follows the story of Akko, a young girl who wishes to be the best witch in the world after seeing an awe-inspiring show from her idol, Shiny Chariot.

After viewing this stunning trailer, it’s safe to assume the game will be a very stylised interpretation of the series and will explore Luna Nova Magical Academy as Akko and her comrades learn new spells, do battle with magical foes and uncover the mysterious Chamber of Time.

Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia will be an action adventure game, bringing the characters from this popular manga and anime series to life. Seven Deadly Sins tells the tale of seven powerful knights who were exiled after their failed attempt to overthrow the Liones Kingdom, in the region of Britannia. Ten years on and the Kingdom is again threatened, but this time it’s the Seven Deadly Sins who have been tasked with saving the kingdom, at the request of the Kings third daughter, Princess Elizabeth.

Very few details have been announced in regards to Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia, including its story or gameplay mechanics, however if the trailer is anything to go by, this is certainly one game I can’t wait to get my hands on. Next year can not come fast enough!

Both Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time and Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia will be coming to PlayStation 4 in 2018 early next year.
