The Sims is making its first debut on the current generation of consoles this November with The Sims 4.
The game was originally available for PC back in 2014 but had never made its way onto console, that is until now. In fact, it’s been 7 years since a mainline Sims game was on console with The Sims 3 launching on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii back in 2010.
The initial release of The Sims 4 will not contain all of the released content from the Windows version, with updates and additional content releases coming periodically after launch. If you pre-order The Sims 4 then you will receive the “Perfect Patio Stuff” pack that includes outdoor hot tubs along with other content. A Deluxe Party Edition will also be available that will add even more outdoor items to the game.
The Sims 4 will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 17th.
