Future Saiyan Warrior and fan favourite Trunks has just been announced as the next playable character in Bandai Namco’s upcoming game, Dragon Ball FighterZ for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. He makes his entrance in the latest gameplay trailer seen below.
Showcasing some of his signature moves such as Burning Attack, Heat Dome Attack, and wielding his sword to annihilate his opponents, it’s clear Trunks is a worthy contender. From what can be seen in the trailer it’s safe to assume Trunks’ range of attack will also be a bit longer since he appears to battle predominantly with his sword, a keepsake from his friend Tapion. Shown to go toe to toe with both Frieza and Cell, I can’t wait to get my hands on this veteran fighter and slash my way to victory.
Developed by Arc System Works, the same game developers who are known for their work on the popular gaming series Blaze Blue, Dragon Ball FighterZ is shaping up to be a much anticipated fighter for 2018. It will be available for play on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and rumoured to be considered for a release on the Nintendo Switch. More news on that, as it arrives.
