Koei Tecmo have announced that the latest instalment of the Dynasty Warriors series will be making its way to the west!
Dynasty Warriors 9 is the latest mainline instalment in the long-running action series. Whilst the series is typically known for expansive hack and slash battles, the newest title is bringing along some brand new features. For the first time, Dynasty Warriors players will be able to explore the seamless open-world of ancient China full of bamboo forests and snowy mountains, you can even go visit the Great Wall too!
The open world now gives players the freedom to do as they please, and can participate in a wide range of battles and skirmishes. These battles range from scouting missions which allow you to discover powerful enemy officers, to guerrilla actions that subdue messengers and scouts.
Koei Tecmo have also announced two new characters to the series: Man Chong from the kingdom of Wei, and Zhou Cang from the kingdom of Shu.
No release date has been given, so stay tuned for more information.
