Keeping on trend with other animal dating sims/visual novels, Purrfect Date has been officially announced, where you can date talking cats while uncovering the mysteries of Cat Island.
From developer Bae team and publisher Bossa Studios, the game features 6 chapters, where you’ll “adopt the roles of multiple freshly employed research assistants, on an Island almost entirely populated by cats. You’ll choose your own adventure as you romance the talking cats, balance your stats and carry out your research into the dark and questionable history of the Island.”
It draws inspiration from games such as indie-darling and fan-favourite Undertale, pigeon dating sim Hatoful Boyfriend and weird puzzler Pony Island, and promises lots of twists to inspire you to take part in multiple playthroughs.
Bae Team co-founder Ruby-Mae Roberts said “Cats, intrigue, dating sims, the TV show Lost… all of these things became the ingredients that went into making Purrfect Date. It’s an amalgamation of everything we love, and in essence, a love letter to each other (and cats).”

None of you should be surprised by this. I mean, it was basically inevitable. Purrfect Date is coming to PC and iOS later this year and you can track its progress on the official website.
