Resident Evil fans can be heard cheering all around as the trailer for Resident Evil: Revelations was recently released by Capcom, announcing its port over to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Originally released in 2012 on the Nintendo 3DS, and then onto other last gen consoles, those who missed their chance at playing this survival horror gem, will soon have the opportunity.
Capcom have noted that the re-released versions with feature a smoother 1920 x 1080 resolution, an improved framerate, increased environmental detail, and refined creature movement. The game will also include all previously released unlockable rewards and downloadable content and four different control schemes based on control types from the entire series. Additionally, it has been announced that both the original and its direct sequel Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch later in 2017!
Having missed the boat when it last it came out, I can not wait to get my hands on a new and more refined version that will provide me the scariest experience possible. Resident Evil: Revelations will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One August 29 for digital download, with more information concerning the release of Revelations 1+2 on the Switch as it comes.
