Bungie apologises & vows to change Destiny 2 loot that resembles a hate symbol

Bungie have apologised and will be fixing a piece of loot in their newly released blockbuster hit, Destiny 2. The loot in question is a set of gauntlets by the name of the “Road Complex AA1” which shares similarities with the Kekistan flag. The flag is used for alt-right symbolism and borrows from elements of the Nazi flag.

In response to the complaints lodged against the gauntlet, Bungie took to Twitter and have stated that:

“It’s come to our attention that a gauntlet in Destiny 2 shares elements with a hate symbol. It is not intentional. We are removing it.”

“Our deepest apologies. This does NOT represent our values, and we are working quickly to correct this. We renounce hate in all forms.”

It’s not clear as of yet if Bungie will simply remove the item in question or re-skin it. Nor is it known how the symbol came to be found on the gauntlet in the first place.
