EB Expo 2017 has announced an absolutely stellar line up of Pre release games to play, Esports competitions and retro gaming. The 2 day event, held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre is jam packed with games past present and future.
Those of you looking forward to some pre release games, I’ve got the list for you right here.
- Far Cry 5 (Nearly 6 months before it’s offical release!!)
- The Crew 2
- Wolfenstein II
- Super Mario Odyssey (First ever time playable in Australia!)
- Just Dance 2018
- Dragon Ball FighterZ
- Ni No Kuni 2
You’ll also be able to try out the Xbox One X too before it’s offical release as well.
For our competitive gamers, this weekend has eSports competitions all over the place. A Minecraft competition will be raging all Saturday. It’ll come down to a big finale showdown Sunday. Nintendo fans should get practicing for daily competitions and prizes. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pokken Tournament DX and ARMS comps will be taking place regularly over the two days.
And finally, for my retro gamers- 40 free to play retro consoles, pinball and arcade machines. Get ready to relive some childhood- or early adulthood, memories.

Retro is huge right now, so we’re bringing over 40 playable retro consoles for those who can’t wait to relive their favourite gaming memories.”
