Fans of SUDA51’s series No More Heroes, get ready to rush out and buy a Switch. That’s right, SUDA51’s back, and he’s bringing No More Heroes back with him. Travis Strikes Again has been announced, as part of Nintendos Nindies Showcase.
The release date is set for sometime in 2018- possibly in time for the 10th anniversary of the first No More Heroes, which was released in Japan in 2007, and worldwide 2008.
But what we do know is that Travis Touchdown is back. And playing Hotline Miami?
The trailer follows Travis Touchdowns encounter with The Bat- who is possibly Bad Girls Father after revenge. The fight takes an abrupt turn, as Travis gets sucked into the game he was playing. The game will take place in 6 different indie games as Travis fights his way through them.
After the trailer, Nintendo confirms that it will take 7 years after the end of No More Heroes 2 and that it will be exclusive to the Switch.
Earlier this year in at Nintendo’s Switch event, SUDA51 made a presentation you can watch here, where he mentions- “I’m gonna try to make a game that’ll become the singularity between indies and the Nintendo Switch”
Looks like he’s living up to it, with Developer Grasshopper Manufacture partnering up with several indie developers for this project.
No price or release date as of yet, but keep an eye on the Nintendo Website and SUDA51’s twitter.
