It is time to form Voltron! If you haven’t already checked out Dreamwork’s successful reboot Voltron: Legendary Defender on Netflix you are seriously missing out. For those already addicted to the series, you can be Voltron (well control a part of Voltron) while you wait for the second half of Season 3 (otherwise known as Season 4) due for release in October.
Voltron VR Chronicles is a virtual gaming experience for PSVR, Oculus Rift and HTV Vive with a release date of 26 September 2017 that you can pre-order now!
Developed by Digital Domain and Universal Brand Development, Voltron VR Chronicles features the same animation style as the hit show, as well as the same voice actors. You play as Lance, who is the blue Paladin of Voltron (he controls the blue robotic pussy cat) in a battle against the evil Zarkon. As you can see from the trailer below, Lance is one of the comic relief characters of the show, and probably the best choice for learning the ropes into how to Voltron. Actually I think I would have preferred Hunk so here’s hoping he gets his moment in this game.

The game follows an original storyline, with Lance discovering the remains of a lost alien race unleashing a mysterious power that threatens to stop the Paladins’ control of their cats and Voltron.
For fans of the show this will be a unique experience to be able to explore the world of Voltron in an immersive 360-degree environment.
