Activision are bringing real life puppies to PAX Aus to support a good cause

PAX Australia is looking better and better with every announcement, but I don’t think anything is ever going to top this. Activision has announced via press release that PAX Australia (taking place at the Melbourne Convention Centre October 27th – 29th) will not only play host to a huge range of psychical and video games, but will also be the place to pet some adorable Destiny 2 puppies.

The initiative is being held to raise awareness for a local non-profit charity, Australian Working Dog Rescue Int (AWDRI). The AWDRI are staffed by a group of dedicated volunteers who find new homes for working dog breeds so that they don’t end up euthanised at council pounds. The volunteers will be at PAX with their adorable puppy pals and will be giving out doggy biscuits for a gold coin donation.

“This coming Friday, Activision is bringing the iconic line from the Destiny 2 live action trailer ‘For The Puppies’ to life.”

“As part of the partnership, Activision and AWDRI will be bringing real-life puppies to PAX AUS, Australia’s largest gaming expo.”

Personally, I can’t think of a better initiative.
