Back in mid September we discovered that Bethesda was planning to bring Wolfenstein 2 and DOOM to the Nintendo Switch. We new the plan was to release Wolfenstein 2 to the Switch on the game’s release date of October 27, but until now we didn’t know anything about DOOM’s impending release.
Thanks to a Tweet from Bethesda, we now know the 2016 shooter will be exploding onto the Switch November 10th.
DOOM and Nintendo together again… and it’s about damn time. #DOOM comes to #NintendoSwitch on 11.10.17! https://t.co/DCxwMpaTEJ pic.twitter.com/Emzkn7LUr2

For those who haven’t played DOOM yet it comes with a big recommendation from me. Returning to the classic style of shooters, DOOM won’t let you hide behind cover and regenerate health. Instead the game is pure aggressive, non-stop violence where constant movement is key. The violent nature of the game is a bit of a change of pace for a Nintendo console, clearly embracing more mature content for their latest generation of hardware.
