Capcom have announced at Paris Games Week that the anticipated title Monster Hunter: World will have a beta version available for PS Plus users – for three days only. Between the 9th and 12th December 2017, three quests available only before in demonstrations will be playable in both solo and multiplayer mode. These quests involve hunting the Great Jagras, the Anjanath, and the Barroth for those more skilled.
It has also been announced that a special Horizon Zero event quest will take place post-launch where special materials can be gained. These materials can create Aloy’s bow and armour as well as armour for your Palico to make it look like a Horizon Zero machine. In other words, you get to play as the huntress Aloy.
While you wait eagerly for the beta event, check out the latest trailer featuring the Rotten Vale area of the New World. The deeper you go into this land littered with bones and toxic mist, the more danger awaits, with the Radobaan laying wait in its depths. This mighty and formidable monster wears a bone armour of fallen creatures you must destroy before you can land any damage. It looks as though Monster Hunter: World just keeps getting better and it is a certainty there are many more surprises to come.
Monster World: World will be launched on 26th January 2018.
