Session, a skateboarding simulation, has kickflipped onto Kickstarter

Posted on November 25, 2017

Session is something for the old skateboarding fans among us – the most realistic skateboarding simulator. Session will allow players to skate however they want, while still giving the feeling of skateboarding culture, including the filming and philosophy of the board.

In the style of old 90’s skating videos, filming and sharing will play a huge part. With online multiplayer, you can grab a friend to come film your tricks and impressive falls.

Truly authentic there,  my brother and I used to do the same with the old family camera.

Session has a control system that lets players  control each foot independently with the joysticks.  This allows players to flip the board every which way they can, but it doesn’t always mean you’ll land a move.

Creā-ture studios has also decided against scoring systems, preferring to allow player creativity to flow.

Session will also feature customisable characters and boards, park creation tools, community voted cities  and a story mode.  Early Access release is projected for 2018 on PC and Xbox One.
