The latest trailer for Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia has been released and the new details announced have me simply bursting at the seams with glee.
Based on the popular manga and anime series Seven Deadly Sins, Knights of Britannia will be an action role playing game full of epic anime styled battles. It follows the tale of Princess Elizabeth who searches for the disgraced knight Meliodas, and the rest of his companions, to help save the Kingdom of Liones. The trailer looks stunning and feels as though the game has been ripped directly out of the anime.
Starting off with Adventure Mode, players will explore Britannia with Elizabeth and collect rumours that will lead her to finding new allies. During exploration players will be familiarised with the lore of Seven Deadly Sins and learn of the ‘Sins’ pasts. For players who haven’t watched the anime and read the manga, it’ll serve a valuable purpose in acquainting them.
As you progress in game and begin to engage in battles you’ll be able to improve your characters stats using the massive skill board provided in game. These skills can be obtained by spending crystals on them, an item gained in battle. Aside from the predetermined story, already on offer in Knights of Britannia, there will be a side story featuring the unsung hero of the story, Hawk, mascot of the Boar Hat tavern and Meliodas’ travel companion.
The next mode on offer will be Duel Mode, a player vs player option in which over a roster of twenty fighters will be available to square off against one another. Players will have the option to battle it out in either 1 v 1, or 2 v 2 battles. On top of this, there will also be an online battle option in which you’ll be able to take on other players from all over the world.
Set for release on 9th of February, 2018 Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4. This certainly one game I’m keeping my eye on.
