There wasn’t a moment of rest at Jump Festa 2018. The trailers kept on coming with the debut trailer for My Hero Academia: One’s Justice. Honestly, I can not express how excited I am to see what they’ll be doing with this series, as a game in particular. Its themes and story shadow that of a blonde, spikey-haired shinobi in orange who swept the gaming world by ‘Storm”. While the trailer was first released in Japan, the European division of Bandai Namco thankfully has released an English version of the trailer for us all to enjoy.
The trailer itself doesn’t show us a whole lot of footage in regards to the actual game, instead choosing to create a tense atmosphere that leads up to confrontation between hero-in-training Midoriya Izuku, and criminal mastermind Tomura Shigaraki. “Born in a Hero Society with Light and Darkness. Both Must Prove their Pride. The Fight for the Fate of the World Begins. To Settle the Grudge. To Protect the Threads of Hope. Their Faith Collides!” My Hero Academia: One’s Justice will pit the beliefs of both good and evil against one another and allow us to determine who comes out on top. Using the Unreal Engine as its base this is certainly going to be one exciting game to get your hands on.
No official date has been set for the release of My Hero Academia: One’s Justice, but it has been slated for a 2018 arrival. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, so it looks as though everyone will get an opportunity to play the hero, or low-key be a villain.
