This is the one I’ve been waiting for folks, popular manga and anime series My Hero Academia has announced their upcoming gaming project My Hero Academia: One’s Justice. The series tells the origin story of Izuku Midoriya, a young man who one day wishes to become the worlds greatest superhero, despite having no super powers (known as quirks) of his own.
After a fateful encounter with the worlds greatest hero, All Might, Midoriya is bequeathed with “One for All”, one of the worlds most powerful quirks. From here we follow his tale of struggle and self discovery as he learns to master and perfect his new power.
The best thing about My Hero Academia is it’s potential to give players numerous fighters to choose from, since the series boasts a colourful and varied ensemble cast. While there is very little information surrounding the game presently, Jump magazine has announced that more details and a debut trailer will be shown at the Jump Festa 2018 Exhibition this mid-December.
You can bet we here at Checkpoint will be raring to report on all the delectable gaming news coming this month from Jump Festa and can’t wait till 2018, for what looks to be a great year in gaming for anime fans.
As of now, My Hero Academia: One’s Justice has been announced for release on the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. For myself it’s only a matter of choosing which console to buy it for, since a fighting game of this caliber begs to be made handheld. Are you just as excited for this announcement as I am? Sound off on who you want to fight as in the game down below.
