Hideo Kojima and a few of the big names in the Death Stranding team are presenters at this years Games Awards. After a short hiatus from Kojima productions after this year’s E3, the announcement has the internet pouncing on the chance for a new Death Stranding trailer.

Last year at The Games Awards was when the second Death Stranding trailer was shown. Since then there’s been a silence on the hotly anticipated game, with only a few tweets for hints. Everyone is hoping for a repeat performance and new trailer from the crew this year.

Or perhaps something even bigger? They’ve got most of the big names coming, Norman Reedus, Guillermo Del Toro, so maybe we’re getting…a release date? A demo? Some kind of…playable trailer?

Or maybe they’re just three big names in the industry right now and Kojima wants to make me cry about no new Death Stranding news. Anything is possible.
If you want to stay up to date, The Games Awards will run this Thursday, December 7th in the United States at 5:30pm PST. Which is 12:30 PM on Friday AEST.
No word yet Kojima’s BFF, Mads Mikkelsen, will be in attendance.

Maybe he’s Kojima’s plus one.
