Do you consider yourself to be a bit posh, but also a big Super Mario fanatic? Have you ever wondered what would happen if Princess Peach were to host a High Tea event and invite you? Well if you live in Melbourne you don’t have to wonder anymore because The Melba Restaurant, located in The Langham Melbourne, will be hosting a limited time High Tea event. Featuring several Super Mario Odyssey inspired sweets and treats, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a nice sit down experience that’s sure to please both the kids and grown-ups alike!

“Whether a nostalgic throwback or a summer holiday treat, the Super Mario Odyssey High Tea will spark your imagination, and you might just collect a few gold coin cupcakes along the way.”

“Oh no! The notorious Bowser has kidnapped Princess Peach once again… but this time he’s hell-bent on marrying her, and has even enlisted a devious crew of wedding planners to arrange the ostentatious nuptials. To find his way to the princess, Mario must take to the skies in his flying ship, the Odyssey, collecting Power Moons on a globetrotting rescue mission.”

“With his brand-new companion, Cappy—a mysterious spirit that inhabits Mario’s signature cap—he must travel to vibrant new kingdoms, unearth secrets, and wield astonishing new abilities.”

“We heard a rumour that Bowser has left a trail of scrumptious treats at The Langham Melbourne and maybe even an elusive Power Moon. Adults and children alike are invited to join this CAP-tivating quest… join quick, before it’s too late!””

The menu as featured on their official website looks absolutely delightful and bookings have already opened and are filling fast. The Melba Restaurant’s Super Mario Odyssey High Tea will begin on the 28th of December 2017 and will run until the 31st of January 2018 and will only be available on weekdays within this period.
