World War Z four player co-op game announced

Posted on December 9, 2017

In a surprising turn of events, the popular novel and movie World War Z has been adapted into a video game.

Announced at this year’s Game Awards 2017, a debut trailer was unveiled by Saber Interactive. World War Z’s trailer is both bone-chilling and enthralling and really captures the feeling of the 2013 film, with hordes of Zombies clambering over one another.

There is very little information surrounding the game at the moment, but what we do know is World War Z will be a four-player co-op third-person shooter. That’s literally all we have to go on presently, but if you’re a fan of zombie games we’re sure you’ll enjoy playing with your mates and trying to survive the oncoming mass of the infected.

If we have to go by what Matt Karch, Saber Interactive’s CEO, had to say on the game “World War Z is a name synonymous with heart-pounding fear and action, and we’re excited to finally capture that energy in a fast-paced and gruesome experience crafted specifically for modern consoles and PC.”, then we should expect an enjoyable zombie shooter.

No official date has been set for World War Z’s release but it will be available for play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. What are your thoughts on this announcement? Will it just be another zombie shooter among the horde of ones already available or will World War Z stand out as the game to get?
